We're a big fan of Jordan Thomas' work with Frank at Home on the Farm published by Scout Comics, so it's no surprise that he has another hit with this book right here.

Welcome to Black Valley. It's a small town that welcomes newcomers, like 15-year-old Amanda Adams and her mom...but only if they don't ask too many questions. Don't ask why strange lights appear in the woods above town some nights. Don't wonder why so many residents of the town seem to be missing fingers and eyes and limbs. Don't look too deeply into why teenagers go missing. Can Amanda free herself, her mother, and her friends from the strange influence of Black Valley...before she's seen the bones beneath the flesh?
Ninecrow is a graphic novel illustrated by hand in pen and ink and inkwash. This book will contain the completed graphic novel, first published online as a webcomic.
In the author's own words: "Ninecrow is a project I'm deeply passionate about. I think of it as "The Stepford Wives" (the 1970s movie version) meets Delphine, by Richard Sala. As a female creator who loves both horror and comics, I feel like we still need more stories that center female characters in ways that are empowering and meaningful. Part of why I set out to write Ninecrow was because I wanted to tell the story of a girl fighting to preserve her identity and her individuality through the lens of a horror story."

Pig Head Fred has been unlocked! Now all tiers that included the original two collectible trading cards ('Shock' Headed Peter and Rosy Ruby) will now automatically receive this one as well. It's an awesome start to the Shockheaded Shenanigans trading card set that will only grow with the release of Parts 2 & 3 coming in 2023.
This one is exciting! Once we reach $9000 in funding, we will release a limited edition, METAL FOIL variant of the Goth cover. Only 35 of these covers will ever be printed... EVER. We will make these available as an add on within the campaign. First come, first served sort of deal. Better be quick. These puppies will not last!
Scandinavian myths mainly tell about gods called the Æsir, whose domain is lordship and war. But there was also a second divine line, more mysterious and somewhat on the margin of the stories preserved in the two Eddas. Those are the Vanir, who are in charge of abundance and fertility, and are associated with the powerful magic called seiðr. Between them and the Æsir arises an inevitable conflict, which cannot be resolved by force. However, an end to the feud is necessary for the emergence of an ideal society, composed of both rulers/warriors and farmers. BACK IT HERE.

Illustrated by the amazing Giuseppe Sabè di Stefano (the artist of Shockheaded Peter), this third card will help to begin the 'Shockheaded Shenanigans' line of collectible trading cards. If you thought the Garbage Pail Kids were grungy, wait until you get these in hand. And we've got an entire set planned for the next two parts which will complete the full arc of Shockheaded Peter the graphic novel.

What an amazing experience this has been. And we have all of you to thank for it!
You, our backers and new fans, have really turned out to support this creative vision we've had in our heads for some time. And now SHOCKHEADED PETER has become a reality that you will be able to hold in your hands, read with wide eyes and display on your bookshelf for years to come. It's hard to express how much delight we are filled with knowing that you are walking alongside us to start this journey.
We've got another stretch goal coming around the corner and another THREE we are about to announce. HURRAY! With every new backer pledge, all funds will be going towards new rewards, upping the print quality on the books and funding the creation and publication of parts 2 & 3 to complete SHOCKHEADED PETER: BOOK ONE. It's a good time to be a storyteller. Not gonna lie.
On a quick side note, we'll be attending WONDERCON in Anaheim, CA this weekend and making the rounds and meeting up with other creators. If you're there, message us on Kickstarter and we'll find a way to meet up! We're serious. Try it. 🙂
